It is important to have someone, or a number of people you trust, that you feel comfortable talking to. These are most likely to be people who listen without judgement, pay attention to your feelings and know how to connect you to help.
- school counsellor, teacher or coach
- parents, relatives, neighbours
- family doctors
- adult friends
- counsellors
- clergy and religious leaders
- if you don't have anyone you feel comfortable talking to, GET HELP! You are not alone!
